Growing up in a small town just outside of Wichita has undoubtedly shaped who I am today. The journey from those humble beginnings to where I am now has been nothing short of inspiring. As a young person, I was uncertain about my future path after
graduation. The possibilities seemed endless, yet elusive.
One vision that always resonated with me was the idea of crafting spaces that could truly make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. I held a strong belief that the environments we inhabit play a profound role in our mental well-being, particularly for young kids facing challenging circumstances, whether in foster care, orphanages, or low-income families. Creating nurturing and uplifting spaces became a personal mission.
Initially drawn to the world of interior design, I soon discovered that it encompassed far more than superficial aesthetics. It wasn’t just about decorating; it was about strategic planning, functionality, and the intricate dance between form and purpose. Designing spaces emerged as a powerful means to tangibly impact the way people live, interact, and grow.
This realization fueled my passion for interior design, driving me to pursue knowledge and expertise in the field. I’ve come to understand that the spaces we inhabit are vessels for stories, emotions, and dreams. Each design decision carries the potential to empower, comfort, and inspire.
Looking back on that journey from uncertain beginnings to this point of clarity and purpose, I’m reminded that our aspirations have the ability to evolve and mature, much like the spaces we work with. I am committed to continuing this journey of transforming environments into havens of possibility, resilience, and hope.
